As for my new project, combination of of all the parts/eCover that I have ‘model in’ plus 3 additional parts….. a writing pad, a pencil and a ‘cup like’ cotainer, just to add up a little spice on the final result.

Using SolidWorks again, this time I’m designing Hard Cover Book for my eCover design project. This is not modeling for engineering purpose, just for graphic and visualizing only…… so it was very easy…

This project start with a sketch…. ….. or maybe for animation, they call it story board. In this case no story…. just sketcing, to transfer the image from my head to a piece of paper.

My latest project on eCover design - I’m designing this eBook cover using CAD Software (Solidworks). This time I created a ‘standing’ view and ‘lie down’ view….

Both are created as diferent ‘part’/file. To combine this ‘standing’ and ‘lie down’ book graphics, I have created and assembly data, which combined these 2 parts together. In this case, I insert 5 ‘lie down’ and 1 ‘standing’ – to give the graphic that I needed.

This is my project of eCover for DVD case. I’m using solidworks to create this eCover design (usually, I’m using PS Action Script) and i love it. The advantage for me using when this Solidworks software is that I can create many effect and can re-arrange all these DVD Case that I’ve created the 3D model….. meaning that I can avoid the same standard boring view.
